Save the Children

Challenge

Our client had a three day online event, in four different language combinations. Everything needed to be organised within 10 working days. Delegates were remotely attending from all over the world and could partake in one of the following languages - Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Arabic. All session were running simultaneously across the different time zones.

Result

We were able to organise the whole event with very little notice, including test runs with the client and the interpreters, as well as training sessions for the interpreters on how to best use the software.

Eli Lilly

Challenge

A large Pharmaceutical meeting was cancelled due to the restrictions placed on delegates regarding travel. A live stream of the meeting was then required so that all participants could actively take part in the live event from all different countries.

Result

We were able to provide a remote interpretation option to our client who could live-stream the meeting for all the participants in 4 different language combinations: English to French, German, Italian and Spanish. The 75 delegates were able to share their own material and discuss it as if they were all sitting in the same room.

Feedback

From a production perspective, the meeting went well and we received excellent from the client on a positive 'roll-out', which we were delighted about!. We were able to accommodate all the last minute requests received and once again this was appreciated by the client. One of our Project Managers monitored the event live through the app, which worked extremely well even using mobile data.

Johnson and Johnson

Challenge

Following the widespread lock-down all over Europe and further afield due to COVID-19, it was impossible for the organisation's General Manager based in the UK to personally meet with all the suppliers from the French and German speaking countries. More than 140 delegates were calling in and they would all require simultaneous translation during the call.

Result

Through the use of 2 remote interpretation platforms (one for calling in and one for listening) we were able to connect all parties involved in the call.

Feedback

In a critical situation like the one we are facing right now, we were able to assist the client with their emergency meeting, and this was all arranged in less than a week. The client's satisfaction and the positive outcome of the meeting was fundamental to us, especially when knowing our efforts may have helped millions of people worldwide.
